Hunter Michael

Hunter Michael is a member of the Royal Bank of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Office where he supports advancing equitable opportunities for Indigenous Peoples through the intersection of human rights, climate and nature, social impact and reconciliation. Prior to joining the Truth and Reconciliation Office, Hunter held roles with various teams across the Royal Bank of Canada, where he specialized in supporting key environmental, social and governance initiatives through business objectives across Canada, Europe and Australia.

Prior to joining the Royal Bank of Canada, Hunter graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts and specialized in Communications and Political Science. Hunter is Willow Cree and a proud member of Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation from northern Saskatchewan.
