INCREASE the impact of your donation this summer

Provide a donation to Spirit North through the Birdies for Kids program by August 31st and it will be matched up to 50%!

Great news! We are honoured and very grateful to be one of the charities selected to receive donation matching in this year’s Rogers Charity Classic Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. This ongoing partnership is a powerful opportunity for our supporters to help bring sport, play, and connection to Indigenous youth!

When you donate to Spirit North through the Birdies for Kids program before August 31st, your matched gift means more skis in the snow, more bikes on the trail, and more kids connecting with their strength, potential, and joy.

All administrative costs are covered by the tournament, meaning 100% of all donations will go directly to the charities selected.

The Impact of A Gift to Spirit North

For many of the communities we serve, Spirit North programming is some of the only access young people have to organized outdoor play. We work alongside teachers, community leaders, and Elders to ensure programming is locally led, culturally grounded, and focused on long-term well-being. And we see the impact every day: youth gaining confidence, supporting one another, and forming deep connections to the land and to their own potential.

This work is only possible thanks to generous donors and partners who believe in the power of sport to inspire hope and possibility. Birdies for Kids is a unique chance to make your support go further and directly benefit Indigenous youth in the communities that need it most.

How to Give

To have your donation matched up to 50%, visit Spirit North’s giving page on the Rogers Charity Classic website.

No matter the size of your gift, it makes a meaningful difference with the added boost from the Birdies for Kids program.

Thank you for walking alongside us, helping to build a future where every kid gets to experience the joy, belonging, and connection to the land that comes with playing outside together!
